Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has a very important role
in the world because we are in the information age. For example, with
ICT, a company can make business easier to connect with customers,
suppliers and distributors. It is also very important in our daily
lives. Therefore, ICT and everyday life cannot be separated.
ICT has a good impact on our lives. This can be proven when we can read
our local press using online newspapers. Another example is that we can
still connect with our family, relatives, or co-workers, even though we are overseas by using electronic mail, messenger, phone call or video call.
Information and Communications Technology (ICT) also has a positive impact on economic concepts in
the economy without the boundaries of time and space. This makes the
economy grow as ICT enables millions of transactions to happen easily
and quickly.
In addition, ICT is vital to improving the quality of human life. This is because it can be used as a learning and education medium to be more efficient. Mass communication media can also take advantage of ICT to promote and champion practical and important issues such as health and social related fields. Users can add more knowledge and access information.
As discussed, ICT can help with
learning and education. How to use ICT in education to increase the
value of teaching and learning and improve the effectiveness of
learning. In addition, student motivation in learning can be applied
with the use of ICT as well as supporting student engagement with shared
learning.
In conclusion, we need the Infomation and Communications Technology (ICT) in our daily life whether it is for education, work, business and social. The users also need the usage of ICT efficiently.
